I. Overview
The INBA membership is structured into two category divisions:  organizational membership and individual membership.
A. Organizational membership
This membership category is for clubs, associations or federations and is divided into the following subcategories:
1. Study group
2. Regular branch (the lead instructor has at least the NIDAN rank or a specific title recognized by INBA)
3. Affiliated branch (the lead instructor has at least the YONDAN rank or a specific title recognized by INBA)
B. Individual membership
This membership category is for the students and instructors and is divided into the following subcategories:
1. Student
2. Instructor
3. Chief instructor

1. Application
a. The head of the applicant organization must introduce himself and the organization;
b. Afterwards, an application form will be provided which must be completed without hold back information;
c. A legal identification document and a Statutes copy of the proposing organization must be attached to the application form;
d. At least fifteen (15) Individual Membership applications, including the lead instructor, must be submitted along with the Organizational Membership application.

a. The Individual Membership requires an Organizational Membership. If your country isn't member of INBA, contact us;
b. An application form must be completed without hold back information;
c. Individual Membership is made through a branch (only in special cases by the individual applicant himself).

The lead instructor of the applicant organization must attend an INBA event before the next step, it is important for us to get to know you!

Upon completion of the previous section, the applicant organization will be notified of acceptance within 8 weeks.

Individual membership (student, instructor...) is automatically accepted if the membership of your organization (club, association or federation) is approved, unless otherwise stated.
